Pfizer Vaccine News: Two Health Care Workers Suffer Life Threatening Allergic Reactions in England

jewishhealthnews

On Tuesday, The United Kingdom launched a mass-vaccination program against COVID-19. As reported on CNN, two health care workers who got the vaccine on Tuesday — among the first batch of people to receive an approved vaccine in the western world — suffered severe anaphylactoid reactions (potentially life-threatening responses including shock, a sudden drop in blood pressure, difficulty breathing, nausea, and vomiting. This prompted England's National Health Service to issue a warning that people "with a history of a significant allergic reaction to a vaccine, medicine or food" should not be given the COVID-19 vaccine developed by U.S. pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and Germany's BioNTech.

"As is common with new vaccines the MHRA (U.K. drug regulator) have advised on a precautionary basis that people with a significant history of allergic reactions do not receive this vaccination after two people with a history of significant allergic reactions responded adversely yesterday," NHS national Medical Director for England, Professor Stephen Powis, said in the statement.

In addition to the warning against giving the Pfizer shot to people with a history of significant allergic reactions, the British regulatory agency also said the drug should only be administered "in facilities where resuscitation measures are available.

Both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines contain an ingredient called PEG polyethylene glycol, which can trigger severe allergic reactions. Additionally, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines use new mRNA technology intended to GENETICALLY MODIFY our own cells to produce a spike protein in the shape of the coronavirus. This whole process could potentially trigger autoimmune disorders, where our bodies begin to attack our own cells. Click here to learn more.

Back in August, Children’s Health Defense (CHD), a organization headed by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., sent a letter to Dr. Jerry Menikoff, director office for Human Research Protections Dept. of Health and Human Services regarding the Phase III Moderna mRNA-1273 vaccine. The letter requested the Office for Human Research Protections investigate the use of polyethylene glycol (PEG) in Moderna’s COVID-19 mRNA vaccine. Pfizer’s COVID vaccine, which also uses mRNA technology, also contains PEG.
